Music.

Music for stage, film and independent work – reduced to what truly matters.

Over 150 released works form the foundation of my practice. My path moves through different musical spaces – from hip hop and electronic music to pop, funk/jazz and music for theatre and film.

Genre is not a goal, but a tool.
It’s about atmosphere, narration and emotional depth.

Whether as a composer, producer or sound designer: the focus is always on finding the right resonance.

Music begins where words no longer carry.

Statement

In theatre and film, music is not decorative background. It carries structure, rhythm, emotion and often meaning.

At the same time, music creators have long been caught in a visible imbalance: in pay, contractual position and public recognition. While other departments are routinely named, discussed and contextualized, music often remains invisible – despite carrying central responsibility within the artistic process.

This imbalance affects not only fees, but also recognition by press, media and the public. It shapes working realities, influences production conditions and affects who can continue to work in this field over time – and who cannot.

This page therefore also acts as a conscious counterpoint: making musical work in theatre and film visible – and inviting a renewed look at its value.

Thoughts of Theatre Music

invisible – like a ghost … a tear in a glass of water … the steam of a tea kettle in the fog … simply not being seen.

invisible-like a ghost … a tear in a glass of water, … the steam of a tea kettle in the fog, … simply not being seen, it took quite a while before I realized that I even exist.- my self-appointed task in my life is to help, to support, to interpret, and with this meticulously gathered information... to find a more beautiful - better solution in the background, there is no other way, … but, but, I can help- I have to.. Since it's the only possibility of my existence to give it a task - no matter how small … got nothing else anyway… different… ok, I am different, I speak in riddles, or in black... but - sometimes... very rarely, it seems to me as if there is Someone, something that doesn't present itself physically, only vaguely, but still, … and then-yes and then I can shine, brighter than any sun, warmer than all the embraces of any mother, or father, or so, so, … at least it seems like that to me, because I can recognize it, that is the truth, I recognize it, very rarely-very secretly, very hidden, and sometimes huge and truthfully— I, I can remember this moment, for this-yes for this … and then everything is a well-filled bathtub, well tempered... but mostly, almost always, one looks right through me, at most cellophane... only slight shadows, the camera pans, and once again I have evaporated, dissolved, but for these - moments … for that… for that - I am there….
